What you will be doing:
- Conduct hands-on work in a cleanroom environment, utilizing microelectronics methods such as lithography, etching, and thin-film deposition to fabricate and develop integrated photonic devices.
- Design, assemble, and test electro-optical systems for various applications, including frequency conversion and modulation.
- Develop innovative approaches to integrate Raicol’s nonlinear optical materials into advanced photonic platforms.
- Contribute to R&D efforts by exploring new applications and methods for utilizing Raicol’s NLO crystals.
What we are looking for:
- Sc. or higher in physics, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant degree with a solid background in Electro-Optics.
- Experience in process engineering.
- Hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment using nanofabrication, nano characterization and microelectronics fabrication methods (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition, SEM).
- Familiarity with optical testing and measurement techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, creative, and driven to improve and continuously learn.
- MATLAB proficiency.
How to stand out:
