What you will be doing:

  • Conduct hands-on work in a cleanroom environment, utilizing microelectronics methods such as lithography, etching, and thin-film deposition to fabricate and develop integrated photonic devices.
  • Design, assemble, and test electro-optical systems for various applications, including frequency conversion and modulation.
  • Develop innovative approaches to integrate Raicol’s nonlinear optical materials into advanced photonic platforms.
  • Contribute to R&D efforts by exploring new applications and methods for utilizing Raicol’s NLO crystals.

What we are looking for:

  • Sc. or higher in physics, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant degree with a solid background in Electro-Optics.
  • Experience in process engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment using nanofabrication, nano characterization and microelectronics fabrication methods (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition, SEM).
  • Familiarity with optical testing and measurement techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, creative, and driven to improve and continuously learn.
  • MATLAB proficiency.

How to stand out:

  • Experience with integrated photonics and related technologies.
  • Experience with RF measurements.
