Quantum Researcher
Quantum technologies have the potential to revolutionize everything we know about computing, sensing, communications and encryption. Throughout the years, Raicol has been a major enabler for many groundbreaking experiments with its self-grown nonlinear crystals. Our Quantum team aims to provide state-of-the-art quantum light sources for quantum technologies.
We are looking for a researcher who will join our quantum team and be a key member of our quantum activities.
As part of your role, you will:
- Research quantum technologies, from simulations to construction of experimental optical setups
- Collaborate with local and international academic partners
- Develop and test new solutions for quantum light sources
For a good fit, you need to have the following:
- M.Sc or PhD in Physics , Electrical engineering or other relevant degree
- Highly proficient in conducting optical experiments
- Knowledgeable in Quantum mechanics
- Experience in simulations of optical or quantum systems
For an exceptional fit:
- Experience in Quantum optics and conducting quantum research
- Developed entangled photons, squeezed light or single photon sources
- Proficient in Lumerical and MATLAB
The position is open to both women and men
