We’re excited to share groundbreaking research published in Communications Physics that utilized Raicol’s BS PPKTP crystals to advance quantum technology.
Researchers from the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, in collaboration with Raicol’s member: Ziv Gefen, developed a novel Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy technique using undetected photons from high-gain spontaneous parametric down-conversion. This innovative approach offers several advantages over conventional methods, including higher output powers and improved interference contrast.
At the heart of this quantum spectroscopy system were Raicol’s precisely engineered periodically and aperiodically poled KTP crystals: APKTP, PPKTP
Our crystals enabled the generation of broadband beams crucial for this application.
We’re proud to see our crystals and expertise playing a key role in pushing the boundaries of quantum sensing and spectroscopy.
